We have immediate openings for energetic and motivated interns interested in getting real world experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong verbal presentation, math and written communication skills.
- Must be self motivated and have good judgment.
- Must have excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Must have excellent MS Excel model building skills and be proficient in MS Office
- Must have great research skills and be resourceful
- Must be detail-oriented and extremely organized
- Ability to work quickly and be flexible in a fast paced, entrepreneurial company
- Ability to multi task and prioritize amongst tasks.
- 3 – 5 days at 15 – 20 hours per week preferred.
AREAS OF CONCENTRATION:
Real Estate Asset & Property Management
- Assist in preparing reports and analysis for tracking asset level performance, including 1, 3, and 5 year business plans and performance benchmarks.
- Assist in creating and implementing strategies for maximizing Net Operating Income.
- Assist in research that assists decision making for investment and leasing decisions.
- Assist in coordination of due diligence information and materials for various real estate transactions.
- Assist in the creation and assemble debt and equity solicitation packages.
- Learn the usage of Yardi the Asset Management and Accounting system.
- Learn how to review, interpret and analyze financial statements.
- Communicate with vendors, visit properties and serve tenants with MJW Staff.
Marketing/Business Development
- Assist in the Networking, contact database administration and follow-up with lead generation and conversion
- Assist in the Marketing of the company for business development
- Attendance at conferences and speaking engagements with MJW Staff
- Assist in internet advertising, website development and social media networking
These positions are open to both graduate and undergraduate students. These are unpaid internships. You must have written proof that your internship will qualify for educational credit including the name of the institution, instructor, course name and telephone, email and address information for the educational facility and professor.
